I’m super-stoked to report that I’ve completed a very helpful course of study presented by the University of North Florida—AI for Work and Life. It was an online course with eight one-hour sessions, presented by AI academics at UNF and other universities, and leaders and users from the healthcare, legal, and financial sectors.

 Session topics include:

1.  AI Foundation and Future—a brief history of AI, and a look to its future

2.  AI Tools for Everyday Use—a review of the “big 4” AI entities, and discussion of several AI engines that specialize in certain tasks like graphic design and video creation

AI seems to be everywhere in the news these days. It’s taking jobs, it threatens to (someday maybe) take over the world, etc. More to the point for this post, it might run off real writers by replacing them with content generated at little cost or effort to the business trying to save the expense of hiring a real writer.
